The Information that Smetana & Bardes Collects, and How it is Used

In order to provide accounting services to your company, our staff will ask you to provide personally identifiable information about you, your employees and your company. This information will consist of company information, payroll information, vendors and client information, tax information, financial information, bank and credit card information and any other accounting information needed to provide service to your company. We will ask for a credit card or ACH submittal in regards to payment for services rendered. If you choose to have others access your company files, we will collect personal information about them as well so that we may verify their identity.

Smetana & Bardes asks you to provide information about how to contact you by telephone, fax and e-mail. We will use this information to provide you with updated information and service your account in other ways. We will never use this information to contact you about additional products or services that may be of interest to you. Any addition of services that we feel will benefit your company would be discussed via phone conversation. Once agreed, more information about additional services would be sent to your email.

Smetana & Bardes does not share, rent, or trade Personally Identifiable Information with third parties for their promotional purposes.

How Information May Be Shared

-Service Providers. We share your personal information with third parties as needed to maintain, support and operate the Site and to perform Site-related services (e.g., maintenance services, database management, web analytics and improvement of our features). We may share aggregated information which does not include personal information and we may otherwise disclose non-identifying information and log data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. How to Correct Inaccurate Information

Smetana & Bardes relies on accurate information in order to service your account properly. Smetana & Bardes should be informed should an employee be removed who had access to your financial data, if your company changes address or your company files for bankruptcy. Any significant financial situation should be disclosed to your accountant so that our records may be modified.

Testimonials

We post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information such as the customer's name. We do obtain the customer's consent prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the home page, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
